New Spark Labs in Bryant Park Just Opened
The rate of start-ups and people who work from home increases annually as more new technology becomes available. Most start-ups I have consulted for and with my own business there are times when a conference room is needed. For small business owners, start-ups and those who work from home that is a bit of a challenge since they only need a conference room every now and then. Currently in Austin I have seen how quickly co-working communities and work spaces are needed given we are in a technology boom. Today, Spark Labs announced the opening of a second location in the heart of NYC’s “Silicon Alley” and the backing of UMW Holdings, a Malaysian Corporation with a $3.5B revenue in 2015. For those who aren't familiar with Spark Labs they are one of NY’s fastest growing co-working communities. Spark Labs brand new space, opened on November 1st, is 20,000-square-feet, comprising an entire floor at 25 W. 39 St. in Bryant Park.
Since this Spark Labs is in New York I thought the prices for the memberships and packages would be very expensive. I was wrong on that assumption as their rates are comparable to what it would cost to have these services in Austin. Spark Labs memberships start at $350 a month for a flex desk to $20,000 a month for large private offices and include the below amenities.
All Spark Labs memberships include access to a unique ecosystem including community, workspace and a comprehensive support platform specifically built for tech companies, including: Sales and Business Development, Marketing and Public Relations, funding fast track, Mentorship program, Recruitment, Legal and Accounting support. Besides the above amenities below are more membership services provided when you become a member.
