Pepcom 2009: ContourHD
How many times have we tried capturing video of something that quite couldn’t be captured? If you can’t think of any, think of your first time riding a bike, or the first time you went skiing. Wouldn’t it have been cooled if you could’ve captured all of that on video – the plunge, the jump, the fall…at least in my case. I attempted recording myself on a sensational Superman cable and although my Canon SD780 PowerShot is the best camera on the market (yes, I am biased), it didn’t capture how fast I was going, how high I was, and all the beauty around me. There is a solution – ContourHD makes a camera that can we work almost anywhere. It can be placed on the side of your ski glasses and those enormous jumps that you exclaimed you did to your friends, can now be proven if you just simply owned one.
If you’re into rock climbing, where you totally need your hands, but you want to remember your special trip – consider checking this thing out – its awesome. If you don't believe me, go to the website and check out some of the videos that were posted.
