SUPER TUESDAY: Stowaway Cosmetics

by on March 1st, 2016

Super TuesFor the past 7 years of writing I always had a rule to never double post for the publications I write for however this is one of those exceptions because my fans may get some free Stowaway Cosmetics!

Stowaway Cosmetics, a line of makeup in sizes you can carry, is putting its own funny twist on the day and encouraging customers to exercise their right to vote on their favorite Stowaway Cosmetics for SUPER TUESDAY. I personally find the names of Stowaway Cosmetics products absolutely hilarious!

Super Tuesday

TODAY and TODAY only Stowaway Cosmetics are exercising your right to vote for your favorite stowaway product & it will reveal a special treat! Once you vote Stowaway Cosmetics will reveal a coupon to get that product for free with any $50 purchase.

Besides the SUPER TUESDAY deal I think Stowaway Cosmetics are great for ladies who travel a lot and going through security check. Each time I tend to lose a beauty product due to the ounces (Thanks TSA).

Stowaway Cosmetics products are perfect for the lady who travels and doesn’t want to deal with obstacles before boarding a plane.

Favorite Website of the Week: Hipmunk.com

by on April 9th, 2012

Many of us are used to booking travel through the typical websites, such as Kayak, Hotwire, Orbitz, Expedia, Priceline, etc. I honestly can’t even remember what traveling was like before the internet. Maybe I’m aging myself?

Whoops!

Just two years old, Hipmunk is a new take on travel, and it strives to make travel planning less agonizing. A cool feature about the travel website is that it displays flights in calendar format. All the usual flight info is included, however, you can also see if Wi-Fi is available on your flight so you can plan ahead on whether you want to use the travel time for leisure or for work. Obviously, Wi-Fi availability is subject to change depending on the carrier and any changes they make to planes.

Airline Seat – Cheat Sheet

by on November 24th, 2010

Since it is the Holiday season and many of you are traveling about to visit family, friends and loved ones.  If you are flying, take a minute to check out this website: seatguru.com

Seat Guru offers general airline information, but that’s not all folks… you can also check out details about the aircraft that will be carrying you through the sky like the marvelous engineering miracle that it is.  Why would you want to do that?  Well, seat guru shows you the optimal seats on each type of aircraft for a specific airline.  This includes the locations of non-reclining seats, emergency exit rows, where power ports are located and of course which seats are the least favorable.

Tip:  Need more room?  Try to sit behind a non-reclining row.  🙂

Happy Traveling!

Web Wednesday: Best Sites for Cheap Flights + Other Travel Deals

by on November 10th, 2010

I’m not sure who told me about Kayak.com but whoever did has saved me, and I’m sure everyone else they’ve told – lots of money. This site, unlike many others, compiles various airlines, and allows you to customize everything from traveling to different airports, what time you arrive, the number of non-stops you prefer, etc. It uses other websites (the traditional travel ones – Orbitz.com, Travelocity.com and also airline websites) to give you the most competitive prices available.
