Logitech Z515 Wireless Speaker Review

pic of Logitech Z515 speakersI like my music loud. Like bass throbbing, booty shaking loud. That’s why, sometimes when I’m cooking, I put the music on in the living room, where the media center is, really loud. It needs to be that loud because I can’t hear its full eardrum shaking, body bouncing rhythms well enough in the kitchen, over the loudness of the fan and the things I have sizzling on the stove. And then my boyfriend comes in and yells at me for not being considerate of the neighbors and listening too loud. Well, with Logitech’s Wireless Speaker Z515, that problem will be no more!

This little wireless speaker unit is compact but powerful– you can listen to music up to 50 feet away from your laptop (or iPad/iPhone, which it is also compatible with via Bluetooth!) Except for an occasional warbling of the sound, which can be due to any sort of momentary changes in internet connection or signal strength, the speakers sound great. Continue Reading…

E3 and Me…Day 2 in LA!

The super mess by CuteGeekCom.On day 2 I woke up sore, I forgot to let you all know I am pretty sure I sprained my foot.  I was limping all through E3 and like a dummy I walked around on it. So day two was a late start (my nick name was gimpay)  but we headed off to the convention center for our first meeting.  Check out one of the displays in front of the convention center, this year truly had some creative outdoor displays and games.

Our first meeting was with Logitech and the first thing I tried was the Logitech® Wireless Guitar Controller and though I am not a Guitar Hero pro and never play the guitar I loved how this instrument played.  It seemed more authentic especially since the neck is real wood. It has a wireless range of up to 30 feet and virtually silent controls, NICE!

e3 is finally back & will be hitting LA in less than a month!

CuteGeek.com will be there to bring you the latest and greatest from the largest video gaming conference in the world! e3 will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 2nd through the 4th.

We’re teaming up with Michael Reyes, from HardwareGeeks.com to meet some of the coolest companies showcasing their newest games, technologies, and ideas influencing the gaming industry. Review: Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus

When I was going away to college in 2003, I purchased a pair of $20 speakers from Radio Shack. I knew I needed to buy something because I like to do everything with music on – clean, homework, shower, etc. I didn’t test it out in the store but the representative guaranteed they would be good.

They were. They were great actually – the bad part was that they were freaking ugly and had long wires that made them impossible to hide, or blend in with anything in my Winnie the Pooh decorated college dorm.
