Welcome to CuteGeek.com Version 2.0

by on May 28th, 2010

Welcome to CuteGeek.com 2.0 we have launched a brand new design and we hope it makes your experience on our site better! We have compressed the design, brought up the content and organized our sites content in a way that we hope will make it easier for you to find.

In this post we want to point out a few features that CuteGeek.com 2.0 design has to offer. Please keep in mind that while CuteGeek.com version 2.0 works in every browser, it is best viewed in a browser that fully supports WebKit, such as Google Chrome and Safari. The new design was also designed in a way to support older browsers such as Internet Explorer 5, just keep in mind you will not experience CuteGeek.com 2.0 in all of its glory if you are using an older browser.

Escaping GDGT 10/01/09

by on October 5th, 2009

We literally escaped…once it opened to the public there were tons of people screaming at SanDisk’s booth, and it was way too hot, to be able to stand in a room with tech gadget enthusiasts, especially while wearing cute heels. Poor Shoshie begged to leave and as soon as we did, boy was I happy…even though it was freezing outside…

Thoughts on PSP Go & GDGT

by on October 5th, 2009

Thursday, Oct 1 – my evening consisted of GDGT’s event in NYC & later Sony’s Launch Party for the PSP Go…I checked out a bunch of stuff at the GDGT event, but the one of the things that made my evening was Coveroo – and my newly personalized phone. Best thing ever…Here are some of my thoughts on it…Another thing that I forgot to mention, that I really fell in love with was Olympus’ waterproof cameras. I need to get my hands on one of those ASAP!

It’s my first ‘solo’ video…bare with me and please send all constructive comments to RadirisD@cutegeek.com…

Hello I’m Nina

by on March 1st, 2009

Hello everyone, welcome to CuteGeek.com! Since we just launched today at 8PM I wanted to introduce my self, with a quick bio and a video I made.

First a little about my self,I have been happily married 5 years and we have 1 dog (Chloe the Chihuahua). I live in San Francisco currently but born in San Antonio, Texas…Go Spurs. I have 4 years of computer industry experience, 2005-2008 with Dell Computers. Previous to Dell I managed a law office for 3.5 years in family law. We specialized in collecting child support by working the Texas Attorney General’s office. Watch out dead beat parents! Currently I own my own consultation business and now I’m a bloggerette for Cute Geek!

Technology I can’t live without: I love my HP 910 IPAQ Smart Phone, I love my Dell Latitude (Yo Dell hook me up with an E series :) ), My 2008 Benz GPS and Bluetooth (MB please send me 2009 CLK 550:)), my new Sony purple Webbie, and My Sony playstation 3 (since I am decent on the drums).
Favorite websites: Youtube, Facebook, Best Buy, CNet, itunes, and MTV (what? I am still in my 20s :) )
Hobbies: I took up dancing a year ago; gradually I believe I have to be getting better. I can cook Mexican food, especially salsa! I like to sing but only the shower likes it.

Welcome to CuteGeek.com

by on March 1st, 2009

Welcome to CuteGeek.com, we are now officially open and ready to entertain, inform and share our perspective on technology. Over the next few minutes to hours you will see some of our first post come online.

The idea of CuteGeek.com started back in 2004, but it was only this year that an idea evolved and blossomed into something more. They say great things come to those who wait and we’ve pretty much waited 5 years for CuteGeek.com to become what it is now. Read more on how we became who we are on our About Us Page, and don’t forget to check out our Bloggerettes while you are there.

Don’t forget to Follow Us, on Twitter and Facebook, and subscribe to our YouTube Channel, we hope to post videos there often. We will also be making a MySpace page in the near future for those of you who like MySpace.

fight against breast cancer Pink RibbonTo celebrate our launch, we plan a few giveaways throughout the month of March, so subscribe to our RSS feed for our latest giveaways. Also during the month of March if you purchase a CuteGeek.com item from our CafePress shop or from Zazzle, we will donate the entire proceeds to fight against breast cancer. Just to be clear 100% of whatever revenue we generate from those sales will go to the fight against breast cancer.

Thank you for visiting us, and we hope to have you as a visitor for a long time to come. If you experience any formatting issues on our site please let us know, we pretty much tested the site in every browser available but we might have missed a bug or two. (After launching the site we did notice some pages missing the footer of the site and are working to correct the issue)

Feel free to leave us comments anytime and let us know how we’re doing.
