Licensing
Licensing is a tricky area, and we at CuteGeek.com wanted to make the licensing process easier. After consulting various Public Relations Firms and In-House Public Relations Teams at various companies we believe we have come up with an easy and straight forward licensing policy.
Using our Quotes:
If you wish to quote any of the CuteGeek.com Bloggerettes, we ask that you mention both CuteGeek.com (linked) and the Bloggerettes name before or after the quote. Below are two examples.
Radiris from CuteGeek.com said “CuteGeek.com Rocks” or “CuteGeek.com Rocks” said Radiris Diaz from CuteGeek.com
Use of the Bloggerettes last name is not required, and there is no fee to quote us.
Use of our Awards, Images, Logos and Videos:
Because we wish to protect our brand and other copyrighted material, we will charge a licensing fee for the use of any of our Awards, Images, Logos and Videos (Materials).
Depending if you use our Materials internally, on your website, in a third party publication (online/print) or on your product the licensing fee will vary. Because of this the fee is not listed on this page.
If you receive an award from us for any of your products, the licensing fee will only cover the product it is awarded to for a period of ONE (1) year.
There are certain awards that are given out to one product every month such as our “Editors Choice” award. The above also applies for this award, but you must also state what Month and Year you received it in.
Hi-Res versions of logos and awards are available upon request, but may not be available for photos.
Videos: Although the majority of our Videos are posted on YouTube and other sharing services you may embed them using that services video player onto your website and no licensing fee will apply. If you wish to use a raw copy of our Video this can be arranged and a fee will apply.
If we believe you are using our materials in a manner that we are not comfortable with, we will ask you to change the way the material is being used and or remove our material.
