by on June 12th, 2010

We are holding another joint contest with HardwareGeeks.com! We are giving away some cool Samsung gear just in time for Fathers day!

HardwareGeeks.com  and CuteGeek.com are each giving away a Samsung S2 640 GB Portable HDD (Blue) an upgrade to the S1 which Cecilia from CuteGeek.com @CuteGeek reviewed last year  and a Samsung S084 Super WriteMaster Slim External DVD Writer which Michael from HardwareGeeks.com @hwgeeks reviewed last year as well. Each site is giving both the S2 and S084 away to one lucky winner on each site!

The S2 and S084 would make a perfect gift to your tech savvy dad, or tech savvy mom for those moms who are both a mom and a dad.

To enter the contest just reply to this thread telling us why your “dad” is so great. You have until Friday 8am eastern the 18th of June 2010 to enter. The winner one on each site will be selected at random and provided you get us your address before 4PM eastern time we will send the S2 and S084 to you next day mail (USPS) so that you can give it to your dad or mom on Fathers day.

My dad is amazing because he just is. He’s a hardworking man and does a lot for our family. My dad is a genuinely nice funny guy and can almost always make you laugh.

    Thanks for considering me.

My dad is great! He does everything for me and has never let me down once. He always goes out of his way to make sure I am ok and is even helpful to my friends in need.

My dad is so great because he taught me the value of firmness and gentleness as a parent …and a love for history and an appreciation for a great sense of humor.

My Dad is great because of all he has taught me. His kindness, compassion and his ability to look for the good in everyone and everything.

This sounds crazy but my Dad is great because he has survived 9 major heart attacks. He is a preacher and still travels all over the world preaching, teaching and feeding the poor.He lives in a tiny trailer because he rarely excepts money from churches.I hardly ever see him but he is a great guy.

My dad is great ’cause he never gives up and is always there for me and my two siblings. He has struggled for two years on the job market, but has never stopped trying and fighting.

My parents raised myself and my three siblings to be respectful and hardworking, productive people. They both worked over and beyond the call of duty to give us the things not only we needed, but wanted. Nothing could ever change the impact they have had on my life and the lives of countless others.

My dad is more than I could ask for even when my mom wasn’t there for me. He loves me for everything that I am, and for that, he deserves the world.

This is for my mom as my dad left when I was only 4 :( . My mom deserves this as something nice for once. She has four kids and does everything she can to make our life the best. She works 8 hours a day, 6 days a week to make enough money for us. She doesn’t get a lot of new things for herself because her kids always come first. She tries very hard to take care of us. She gives me so much in life that I would do anything to get her one of these.

I’d like to give it to my mom, she wasn’t always there for me and my siblings but it was because she had to work hard because our dad abandoned us and if anyone is deserving she is.
