Pepcom 2009: RetailMeNot.com & TheBudgetBabe.com

by on September 19th, 2009

As a shopaholic, my absolute favorite thing from Pepcom was RetailMeNot.com and TheBudgetBabe.com.

RetailMeNot.com is a website with tons of coupons for endless numbers of stores online and off. Unlike other similar sites you do not need to subscribe, users rate the coupons so you sort of get ‘proof’ that they work, and they have over 23874932749837 companies and stores, and you can also ‘share the love’ (that’s how it is on the site) if you have a coupon of your own. I love online shopping, but heck-if I can do it at a discount, I’d love it a little more and may do it a little more!

I love to skateboard and yesterday at an event here in NYC I saw a product that is perfect for skaters like me and anyone who is into extreme sports, and wants to record what they’re doing from their own perspective.

Hello CuteGeek readers this is my first post and I’m excited that it includes a video of me! I was able to check out the DreamScreen from HP a new wireless media streamer that will stream short videos, music and let you view pictures on your network or stored on your device. Beatles Rockband Release 9/9/9

by on September 9th, 2009

Beatles RockbandToday Harmonix and MTV released Beatles Rockband; frankly its about time!  I tested out the Beatles Rockband game at E3 (see youtube here) and have been dying for it to be released. I had hoped for a copy before the release date but I am apparently not cool enough…yet (do I sound bitter?).

A true Beatles fan I watched VH1′s classic channel tribute to the Beatles all Labor day; including all their movies and the George Harrison Concert that Eric Clapton arranged. Till this day I start my morning with “Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb across my head…”

So there is a pretty cool demo here but if you want to see us cutegeekers rockin’ it I suggest checking out this link!

Innex/ Exo-Flex Skin for my PSP!

by on September 2nd, 2009

PSPInnex/ Exo-Flex sent me a skin for my PSP.  When I received the package in the mail I knew it had to be my skins.  It came in probably the most awkward flat box ever created (maybe I am over dramatic on this).
I have to admit my first impression was that this clearly was a dude’s design; it was black and green plus it’s named “Gamma.”   Did they think about the whole women’s demographic? Obviously us ladies don’t need pink but something less abrasive would be nice.  To be fair I did let the company choose what to send me so I shouldn’t complain too much about the odd choice.
