Pictures may be worth a thousand words, but how many feelings do YOU think are attached to them. There aren’t very many people that I’ve dated, yes, I am admitting that, but one thing I absolutely love doing when I meet someone, or when I want to share ‘my world’ with them is show them some of my mother’s photo albums.
They are huge, and last time I checked (unless she finally replaced them) were falling apart. It didn’t matter though. The pictures were there, some faded, some stuck to the plastic, but looking at pictures is like going into a spaceship and traveling far out into your past, into a very special place, where you captured that memory.
I am a fan of pictures although I have the memory of an elephant. I remember everything, but sometimes it’s nice to stare at something and go back to that moment in time.
That is why I was extremely psyched to receive Polaroid’s Digital Photo Frame from Geeks.com.

I had to post that pic before anything because this is why HP is making the moves its making in the industry.
Although we like fast computers, and tons of memory, we also don’t want to lug around textbook looking gadgets. They know this. We want to differentiate ourselves from others, while at the same time looking good, without hurting our backs. They know this. HP has reassured all of our concerns through their new product line.
As Nina recently posted, the HP ENVY 15 is a laptop beyond its class. It’s the most powerful consumer laptop (to date) and its exterior is etched with the ever so amusing pattern of, um, greatness – I’m not really sure what it is, but its feels nice.

When I’m interested in trying something new, or even finding a good restaurant I primarily focus on reviews — reviews written by you and me. The bad thing with reviews is that they’re oftentimes written as soon as they receive a product, and to me, that doesn’t always depict the trueness of how a product is. Sure, the unboxing and setup is sometimes wonderful, but how about the maintenance, and whether or not there’s any.

Call me geeky, but I love coming up with new ideas and/or identifying programs, processes, or initiatives that maximize my efficiency or productivity whether its in my personal or professional life. I’m not a robot, I just like to check things off of my “To Do” list. Looking and feeling my best while doing that doesn’t hurt too. It’s all in a good days work, right? Now only if there was a much more fashionable Go-Go-Gadget outfit. Inspector Gadget was way ahead of his time.

How many times have we tried capturing video of something that quite couldn’t be captured? If you can’t think of any, think of your first time riding a bike, or the first time you went skiing. Wouldn’t it have been cooled if you could’ve captured all of that on video – the plunge, the jump, the fall…at least in my case.
I attempted recording myself on a sensational Superman cable and although my Canon SD780 PowerShot is the best camera on the market (yes, I am biased), it didn’t capture how fast I was going, how high I was, and all the beauty around me.

As a young girl I was boy crazy and now as a young career woman I am going to label myself as laptop crazy because I tend to fall in love with one every so often, anytime my eyes fall on another beauty and yesterday I had one of those moments.
HP never disappoints me. Months could pass without me hearing a word, or checking out what they have on the pipeline and then TA-DA, something is released and I just have to shrug and in my head tell HP, ‘damnit, you’ve done it again.’
